With the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, a month of generosity and giving, Dr. Ahmed bin Said Al-Jahouri & Partners Law Firm launched an initiative aimed at raising community awareness about laws and legislation through lectures and legal insights derived from the Qur’an, held in various mosques across the Sultanate of Oman. The lectures covered a wide range of topics relevant to daily life, enriching individuals’ understanding of their rights and duties, instilling correct values in the younger generation, and protecting families from harmful influences. Dr. Ahmed Al-Jahouri and esteemed lawyer Mousa bin Ali Al-Amri delivered these sessions, addressing subjects such as family protection and conflict resolution, emphasizing the importance of understanding marital responsibilities, the legal necessity of pre-marital medical checkups, the significance of zakat and charity, the rights and obligations of individuals, legal aspects of fraud and cheque disputes, and the proper collection and distribution of public funds. The initiative aims to build a legally and socially aware society, highlighting that knowledge of the law is not only a right but a moral and religious duty essential for social stability and trust.
